Cross cutting budgets

This playground at the Nunsmoor Centre in the West End of Newcastle is sure to be one the kids will love, because they designed it themselves. The costs were covered by Centre West with the support of Sure Start. Initially set up as part of the New Deal for Communities Scheme, Centre West continues to put the community in charge, ensuring the work continues even after government funding stops in 2010.
