Specialist academies linked to social economy initiatives, such as the University of Mondragon in Spain, the Sekem Academy in Egypt for the research and study of agriculture, pharmaceuticals and medicine from a bio dynamic perspective, and the University of Gastronomic Science in Bra and Colorno in Northern Italy, which has grown out of the Slow Food movement.
