Diagnostic professions

Many professions – from medicine to engineering - have their own framework for diagnosis, of looking beyond symptoms to causes. Some of the most interesting insights come from analysts of human behaviour – anthropologists, psychoanalysts, and sociologists. In analysing an issue or a set of data, it is useful to have the perspectives of a variety of professional disciplines, for each ‘reading’ will suggest different ideas for action.
